AFTER FOREVER Guitarist Undergoes Surgery

According to a post on AFTER FOREVER's official web site, guitarist Sander Gommans suffered an acute appendicitis during the recording sessions for the group's new album and had to undergo surgery. On April 5 he was operated on and will probably need to stay in the hospital until Saturday, April 9.

AFTER FOREVER are recording their fourth full-length album, "Remagine", at the Gate Studio in Wolfsburg, Germany. The group's latest album, "Invisible Circles", was released in March 2004 through Transmission Records. "Invisible Circles" is the follow-up to "Decipher", which was issued in 2001.
